U.S. Marines with Combat Engineer Platoon, Task Force Koa Moana 16-4, integrated with the French army and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces to compete in the French army log challenge during Croix Du Sud in Plum, New Caledonia, Nov. 9, 2016. Croix Du Sud is a multi-national, humanitarian assistance disaster relief and non-combatant evacuation operation exercise conducted every two years to prepare nations in the event of a cyclone in the South Pacific.
