Marines with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion offload personnel after staging their amphibious assault vehicles during a ship-to-shore drill from USS Carter Hall (LSD-50) on Onslow Beach, North Carolina, Dec. 1, 2016 during Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. ARGMEUEX is a three-week training evolution intended to build upon previous relationships, thereby enhancing Navy and Marine Corps interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities to tackle a wide range of operations during their upcoming deployment. During the exercise, Sailors and Marines work together to conduct flight operations, noncombatant evacuation exercises, simulated raids and visit, board, search, and seizure drills.
