The ‘splash’ drill allows the AAV operators to practice movements on and off ship and the infantrymen to sharpen their skills in the maritime environment. ARGMEUEX is a part of the 24th MEU training cycle and is preparing Marines and Sailors for a deployment early next year. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Sgt. Matthew Callahan)
