Master Sgt. Ronda Hedges, unit training manager with the 131st Maintenance Group, found spiritual strength would help her though a failed marriage with an abusive husband. Strong spiritual fitness can give a person a sense of purpose, especially in spite of difficulties or discouragement, according to AFI 90-506, Comprehensive Airman Fitness. Hedges learned to be content and trust God’s control and says things got better for her as she was “blessed” with one opportunity after another.
