William J. Martin, Consul General, U.S. Consulate Karachi, Pakistan and Col. Roy Osborn, commanding officer of 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit observe the flight deck during a Pakistani media visit aboard USS Peleliu (LHA 5). The Consul General met with the Navy and Marine Corps leaders who will be responsible for delivering relief supplies to flood-stricken areas of Pakistan, while the Pakistani media covered that event. Peleliu sent its first wave of supplies ashore today to establish a support element and communications hub for the Navy and Marine Corps heavy lift aircraft.
