U.S. Navy Sailors assigned to the Expeditionary Medical Unit – Gulf construct a tent during operations to establish a forward surgical unit at Qayyarah West Airfield, Iraq, Oct. 1, 2016. This is the first naval expeditionary medical unit deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and has been established to provide forward resuscitative care to ill or injured International Coalition service members in the fight to weaken and destroy ISIL.
