Col. Francisco J. Neuman, Ponce, Puerto Rico, commander of Multinational Battle Group East, and a member of the Puerto Rico National Guard, moves toward the altar inside the crowded Church of the Black Madonna in Letnica/Letnice, Kosovo, in order to pray on the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Hundreds of Kosovo Forces soldiers from several countries participated in a pilgrimage to the church where Mother Teresa received her calling. Neuman led the U.S. delegation, which was comprised mainly of Puerto Rico National Guard Soldiers, who were joined by fellow Guard members from Arkansas, Connecticut, Georgia and Iowa, and Reservists from Alabama and Louisiana.
