Lt. Col. Siegfried Weber, chaplain for Kosovo Forces, administers the Catholic Sacrament of Communion to Lt. Col. Epifano Jimenez, outside the Church of the Black Madonna in Letnica/Letnice, Kosovo, during a Mass celebrating the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Lt. Col. Jimenez, of Carolina, Puerto Rico, is the civil military affairs officer for Multinational Battle Group East, and a member of the Puerto Rico National Guard. Every August, thousands of pilgrims from the Balkans and other areas of Europe journey to the church where Mother Teresa received her calling. Hundreds of KFOR troops made that same journey Aug. 15, including several dozen U.S. Soldiers. The American troops who participated this year included National Guard Soldiers from Puerto Rico, Arkansas, Iowa, Georgia and Connecticut, and Army Reservists from Alabama and LouisianaGeorgia.
