Lt. Col. Richard Tylicki, commander of the 1st Squadron, 104th Cavalry Squadron based in Philadelphia, Pa., and Lt. Joseph Colin with the Metro Police Department in Washington D.C. collaborate during a ceremony at Dunbar High School in Washington D.C., Jan 19. Tylicki is the commander of Task Force Ready (that includes 260 military policemen from the Kentucky National Guard’s 438th Military Police Company based in Murray, Ky.), serving with Pa. Soldiers supporting the 58th Presidential Inauguration. Task Force Ready will assist local police and authorities with security for the inauguration. Tylicki, like the other Soldiers in his task force, was sworn in as Special Police for the inauguration, Jan. 19, in Washington, D.C., where most of the more than 7,500 Soldiers and Airmen supporting were also sworn in to support local and federal authorities and provide a safe and secure inauguration.
