Recruits from Bravo Company, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, wait in line to have their movement to con tact run time recorded during a Combat Fitness Test at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, Jan. 12. Recruits had to sprint 880 meters as fast as possible in boots and utilities for that portion of the test. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Bravo Company is scheduled to graduate Feb. 3.
