Machinery Repairman 2nd Class Tim Grover uses a lathe to modify a gear hub onboard the amphibious assault ship USS BATAAN (LHD 5). The part will be used to fix a lube oil pump in one of the ship's main machinery rooms. The ship is underway for Composite Training Unit Exercise (COMPTUEX) with Bataan Amphibious Ready Group in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
