A fire engulfs the 46-foot Miss Dolores, Sept. 10, approximately 4 miles west of Anclote Key, Fla. Coast Guard Station Sand Key responded to radio distress calls from the two passengers aboard the commercial fishing vessel. A Good Samaritan nearby was able to safely rescue the two passengers and no injuries were reported. The Station Sand Key boatcrew set a 500 yard safety zone around the vessel, which burned throughout the day. (U.S. Coast Guard photo by Chief Petty Officer Albert Michell)
