Naval Oceanographic Office surveyors John Suslavage and David Small prepare to launch autonomous underwater vehicle, REMUS 600 aboard the Military Sealift Command oceanographic survey ship USNS Henson. They are in search of the remains of John Paul Jones' Revolutionary War ship Bonhomme Richard, which was lost off the coast of England in 1779 after a decisive battle with HMS Serapis. Jones won the battle and seized HMS Serapis as Bonhomme Richard was heavily damaged and sank 36 hours later.
