170313-N-HD638-012 WATERS EAST OF THE KOREAN PENINSULA (March 13, 2017) Sailors heave a line in the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) hangar bay during a replenishment-at-sea with the Military Sealift Command (MSC) dry-cargo and ammunition ship USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10). The Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment as part of the U.S. Pacific Fleet-led initiative to extend the command and control functions of U.S. 3rd Fleet.
