Photo illustration of a World War II female Marine created in Adobe Photoshop to depict the way a female Marine of the U.S. Marine Corps Women's Reserve would look in a photo from the 1940's. The Marine model was photographed in a studio while wearing a replica WWII Marine Corps Women's Reserve uniform; then, in Photoshop, lighting, color, and texture effects were applied to give the image an aged appearance. The model was also digitally placed in an office scene reminiscent of the work place most women held clerical positions in during WWII. An image of a 1940's office setting, along with digital creation of shoadows, was used to create the full effect of the scene.
