Ed Brown (left), director of military outreach for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, provides advanced leadership training to more than 30 youth coordinators from Air Mobility Command bases during a training session in O'Fallon, Ill., Sept. 23, 2010. Each participant arrived with a project for their respective base's youth or teen center. During the training they learn how to advance their project into fruition where the end result is hopefully the growth from “good to great” programs. Brown has been with BGCA for more than 30 years, of which he’s spent almost 20 years supporting military children.
