MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Marines with 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit drive a light armored vehicle back to their camp in order to stage for follow-on missions during PHIBRON-MEU integration training at Camp Pendleton, April 7, 2017. This first at-sea exercise provides the Marines the opportunity to practice integrating with their Navy counterparts to form an efficient team capable of accomplishing a range of missions around the globe. This Navy-Marine Corps team supports combatant commanders in maintaining regional maritime security and stability while providing offshore options to deter, influence and win in an era of uncertainty.
