Pfc. Irving Moreno, a food service specialist with Headquarters Battery, 14th Marine Regiment, portions a tray of cornbread during evaluation and inspection for the W.P.T. Hill Award for best reserve field mess. A team of three Marine evaluators and one civilian, who are all cooks by trade, evaluated Marines on a wide range of categories from the taste of the food to the appearance and attitude of the Marines preparing the meal.
