Jack Turner, a Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army, and Staff Sgt. Ken Severin, a member of the Army’s Golden Knights parachute demonstration team, after freefalling for approximately 8,500 feet deployed their parachute and near the ground. Turner was invited by leadership at Fort Campbell to the event hosted by the Nashville recruiting battalion, which raises awareness about the Army and its efforts to accomplish one of the most challenging recruiting missions in its long history.
