Cpl. Rudy Santos Santos of Comando Especial Antiterrorista of the El Salvadoran Army operates an M249 light machine gun during the New Hampshire National Guards 2017 Best Warrior competition at New Castle April 9. This year marked the first time two Soldiers from El Salvador, New Hampshire’s State Military partner, competed in the three-day competition alongside 22 New Hampshire Guardsmen, showing off skills in marksmanship, first aid, physical training and land navigation among others.
