Veterans visited the Gray Eagle hanger and had the opportunity to go inside the ground station control during the Officers of the 1st Infantry Division tour April 28 at Fort Riley, KS. The Gray Eagle an essential element of the U.S. Army's Aviation Modernization Plan, with an endurance of 25 hours, speeds up to 167 knots true airspeed (KTAS) and is used for direct operational control by Army field commanders.
