The Missouri Army National Guard’s 1st Battalion, 138th Infantry Regiment of Kansas City, Mo., starts setting up a defensive perimeter during a three-day field training exercise in northern Japan. The 138th spent two weeks working with the 26th Infantry Regiment, Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force, exchanging tactics and techniques.
