Michael Shanks, an infantryman with C Troop, 1st Sqdn., 61st Cav. Regt. from Clarksville, Tenn., Nov. 15 on Forward Operating Base Connolly. One of the leading injuries the medics at the station say they see is traumatic brain injuries. Soldiers exposed to improvised explosive devices are screened for concussions and other injuries.
