PORTLAND, Ore. (May 22, 2017) Commander Submarine Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Rear Adm. Rear Adm. Frederick Roegge awards Capt. Drew St. John with the Legion of Merit, for his accomplishments as the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40)'s commanding officer, during the ship's change of command ceremony, May 22. St. John was relieved by Capt. Jeff Farah during the ceremony held at the Naval Operations Support Center Portland. Frank Cable, currently in Portland, Ore. for a scheduled dry-dock maintenance availability, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
