David Halverson (right), commanding general of the U.S. Army Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill, lead senior Fort Sill leaders into the Old Post Quadrangle, one of the stops on the commanding general’s mounted staff ride, Nov. 22. The leaders travelled by horseback to various locations around Fort Sill to reflect on the events and ties that continue to bind soldiers to this last remaining fort on the Southern Plains.
