U.S. Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class (SCW) Gerald Chandler, of Port Hueneme, Calif., construction electrician, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 40, uses a skill saw to cut a sheet of plywood for a perimeter guard tower at the Russian Silo Combat Outpost, Afghanistan. The COP is the future site of a 10 mega watt power plant intended to power the western side of Kandahar, Afghanistan. Chandler is deployed to Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan.
