Gen. Lloyd Austin, commander of United States Forces-Iraq, Command Sgt. Maj. Josheph Allen of U.S. Forces-Iraq and James Jeffrey, U.S. ambassodor to Iraq paid a visit to Joint Base Balad, Iraq, Nov. 25, for Thanksgiving. Austin and Allen awarded coins to several soldiers during the brief visit to the United Service Organization building at the Passenger terminal on JBB.
