PACIFIC OCEAN – Marines and Sailors aboard USS San Diego (LPD 22) stand in formation waiting to hear from Rear Adm. Ross Myers, commander, Carrier Strike Group 15 , May 10, 2017. Myers addressed the Blue-Green team about their hard work and dedication during pre-deployment at-sea operations, and the future of the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and America Amphibious Ready Group’s upcoming deployment. This formidable Blue-Green team is at the tail end of a rigorous unit-level certification cycle in order to be proficient in their skill set in preparation for their upcoming deployment.
