NAVAL AIR STATION PATUXENT RIVER, Md. (May 30, 2017) - Air Traffic Controller 1st Class Justin Brown looks out over the airfield from the Air Traffic Control Tower at NAS Patuxent River. Brown was recently named Commander, Navy Installations Command Air Traffic Controller of the Year, and is in the running for the Vice Adm. Robert P. Pirie Air Traffic Controller of the Year award, presented for outstanding contributions to operational readiness and safety applied by individual Navy and Marine Corps air traffic controllers worldwide.
