More than 30 members of the Japan Religious Committee for World Federation visited several Marine Corps Base Hawaii memorial sites to pray for peace Dec. 7. The group started at the memorial of Lt. Fusata Iida, an invading enemy Japanese pilot whose Zero aircraft crashed on base. The committee, who visits every year on Dec. 7, includes Japanese officials from Shinto, Buddhist and Christian congregations.
