A launcher crew assigned to 3rd Battalion, 197th Field Artillery, fires a rocket from a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System launcher on June 12 in Gagetown, Canada. 30 rockets in total were fired during the exercise, which was the culminating event for 3rd Battalion’s two-week annual training. Distinguished visitors, including Maj. General William Reddell, adjutant general of the NH National Guard, and Col. John Leblanc, commander of 197th Field Artillery Brigade, watched the launch from a helicopter operated by the 238th Medevac Company, NH National Guard, while dozens of Canadian Armed Forces from Gagetown’s Artillery School observed from the ground.
