After clearing customs, soldiers walk into the Freedom Yard at the Army Life Support Area in Kuwait, Dec. 12, to await their flights home for Rest and Recuperation travel. The Freedom Yard is home to what service members refer to as the world's smallest Pizza Hut. More than one million service members have passed through the LSA for R and R.
