Gov. Beverly Perdue of North Carolina walks alongside Col. Philip J. Zimmerman, the commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, upon exiting her aircraft at the flightline Tuesday. Perdue flew in from Raleigh, N.C., to serve as the guest speaker for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the newly-erected Fleet Readiness Center-East Engineering Product Support Facility.
