SUBIC BAY, Philippines (June 19, 2017) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Jarrad Howse, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104), communicates via sign language with a student from the Association for Differently-Abled at a community outreach event during a port visit to Subic Bay, Philippines. Sterett is part of the Sterett-Dewey Surface Action Group and is the third deploying group operating under the command and control construct called 3rd Fleet Forward.
