U.S. Air Force 1st Lt. Matthew Natale, from the 2nd Air Refueling Squadron at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., goes through a pre-flight operations check on the flight deck a KC-10 Extender April 9, 2009, prior to an air refueling mission. On Jan. 17, 2011, the KC-10 marked 20 years of continuous deployment. Air Force KC-10 home stations are in only two places, Joint Base MDL and Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
