KC-10 Extender aircraft assigned to the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, 380th Air Expeditionary Wing, are parked on the flightline at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia, Jan. 1, 2010. The KC-10 is one of the airframes in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility that provides air refueling capability to provide global reach for overseas contingency operations. On Jan. 17, 2011, the KC-10 marked 20 years of continuous deployment. Air Force KC-10 home stations are in only two places, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., and Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
