A KC-10 Extender taxis to a parking space after completing a mission during operations for the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia, March 27, 2010. Deployed KC-10s are assigned to the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron and are deployed from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., and Travis Air Force Base, Calif. The 908th EARS is the only deployed KC-10 air refueling squadron in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and as part of the 380th AEW supports operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom and the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. On Jan. 17, 2011, the KC-10 marked 20 years of continuous deployment.
