Stone deployed from the 2nd Air Refueling Squadron at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. On Jan. 17, 2011, the KC-10 marked 20 years of continuous deployment. Air Force KC-10 home stations are in only two places, Joint Base MDL and Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
