A maintenance airman from the 380th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's Extender aircraft maintenance unit provides direction to the flight crew of the KC-10 Extender from the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron during flightline operations for the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia, June 7, 2010. The 380th AEW supports operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom and the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. On Jan. 17, 2011, the KC-10 marked 20 years of continuous deployment. Air Force KC-10 home stations are in only two places, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., and Travis Air Force Base, Calif.
