Chief Petty Officer Lorenzo Branch, medical chief, 4th Force Reconnaissance Company, 4th Marine Division, fastens his helmet in preparation for free-fall parachute training before departing in an Air Force C-17 transport aircraft from Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Jan. 21. Branch and force recon Marines with 4th Force parachuted from various altitudes over Marine Corps Base Hawaii to fulfill specialty-based sustainment training requirements. They were joined by Air Force pararescuemen from 103rd Rescue Squadron, 106th Rescue Wing, New York Air National Guard, and West Coast-based Navy SEALs.
