Brig. Gen. Joseph Osterman, commanding general of 1st Marine Division (Forward), talks to Marines and sailors of 3rd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion during a battle space tour, Jan. 24. Osterman and Sgt. Maj. Fascetti, 1stMarDiv(Fwd) sergeant major, visited the Marines and sailors and encouraged them to continue the fight. When asked if they had any wants or needs, the LAR Marines and sailors, who call themselves the “Wolfpack,” continuously said they were doing well and had no complaints. The two leaders of the division also thanked the warriors for their service and dedication to the mission.
