332nd Medical Brigade staff members manage medical operations from the tactical operations center within the combined joint operation area area in the notional country of Atropia during the Global Medic 2017 Combat Support Training Exercise (CSTX) at Camp Roberts, Calif. 332nd Med. Bde., apart of the 3d Medical Command (Deployment Support), participated in the event as the premier health support provider to the combined joint task force that included military members from the U.S. Army Guard Reserve (AGR) and Army Reserve, Navy, Air Force, Marines, along with military medical professionals from the Canadian Army and Royal Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Land Force. The full range of medical capabilities support provided by the Joint Task Force honed skills in providing medical services such as ambulatory care, medical evacuation, x-ray, laboratory and dental services, preventive medicine, advanced trauma management, pharmacy, and clinical services. Global Medic is a situational scenario-based simulation exercise focused on the development of 80% strategic/operational and 20% joint medical and tactical skills and is held simultaneously at various locations from Shaw Air Force Base, S.C., to Fort Devens, Mass., Fort Hunter Liggett, Calif., Camp Roberts and Camp Parks, Calif.
