    170728-N-ZS023-022 PACIFIC OCEAN (July 28, 2017) Damage Controlman 1st Class Rinday Keemp, a Las Vegas native and a member of the ship’s damage control training team, trains Sailors assigned to Repair Locker 4 during a simulated general quarters drill aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6). Repair Locker personnel are responsible for the combating shipboard casualties in an event of serious damage to the ship. America, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is operating in the Indo-Asia Pacific region to strengthen partnerships and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
