Arguably the most recognizable piece of military equipment from World War II and beyond, the Jeep was manufactured by both the Willys-Overland Motor Company and the Ford Motor Company, which is the model show here. Lt. Col. Timothy Silkowski, director Fleet Support Division aboard the Yermo Annex of Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., restored the Jeep from a rusted hulk found in the desert to full functionality.
