Sgt. Chris Sherrill, a team leader with 3rd Squad, 1st Platoon, A Company, 1st Battalion, 23rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, awaits being led into a courtyard so his team can search a home in a northern neighborhood in Baghdad, Feb. 15. Sherrill, a native of Charlotte, N.C., and his squad searched numerous houses in efforts of finding possible insurgents, to make sure residents had appropriate amounts of weapons in their home, and to provide the neighborhood with security.
