CHARLESTON, S.C. (July 27, 2017) A TTC nursing staff member shows girls how technology is used in the TTC nursing program in North Charleston, S.C. The TTC visit was one of many GDO activities designed to educate and attract rising 8th and 9th grade girls to pursue science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic develops, acquires and provides life cycle support for command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems, information technology and space capabilities. A leading-edge Navy engineering center, SSC Atlantic designs, builds, tests, fields and supports many of the finest frontline C4ISR systems in use today, and those being planned for the future.
