Core II is a ship-wide inspection designed to test the crew’s abilities across a variety of shipboard tasks, such as firefighting, damage control, navigation, first aid, and launching and recovering aircraft. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
