Jim Lanham, sergeant major of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), stands before Marines and Sailors of the 31st MEU and Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group (BHR ESG) in preparation for an all-hands call on the flight deck of Bonhomme Richard with the Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Robert B. Neller. Neller visited Bonhomme Richard after an MV-22B Osprey, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 265 (Reinforced), experienced a mishap on Aug. 5.
