170807-N-YG104-009 CORAL SEA (August 8, 2017) The amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) transits near the Royal Australian Navy ship HMAS Melville as they prepare to support recovery operations connected to the MV-22 Osprey mishap that occurred Aug. 5. CDT1 will conduct a series of dives to retrieve information about the incident, search for remains, and assist in the future salvage of the MV-22.
