U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Kenneth S. Dowd, commanding general of the 1st Theater Sustainment Command, presents a coin to Maj. Nicholas J. Morgus, for outstanding performance in a ceremony held Jan. 25. Morgus, whose hometown is Flowood, Miss., serves as a plans officer in the Mississippi Army National Guard’s 184th Expeditionary Sustainment Command. The 184th ESC is currently deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and directs all military logistics support for American and coalition forces in Afghanistan.
